Best Of Bromance

Bromance: A) a highly formed friendship between male friends, or "bro's". B) A form of male bonding and usually invisible to the naked eye. This bond is normally only shared between two males hat have a deeper understanding of each other, in a way no woman could ever realise. C) An intense and extreme bond between two males. Said to be a “deep emotional bond” that no woman could satisfy. Signs of a bromance include, but are not limited to: knowing what the other is thinking, hanging out 24/7, hugging, extensive high-fiving, and sharing clothes. Some famous examples include Sherlock Holmes and Watson, and Captain Kirk and Spock.

cgambos: In 1986 I joined the Navy & went to bootcamp in San Diego. One of the men in my company was “Henry”. After bootcamp we both were assigned to Naval Training for our “A” training (me Radioman/he Cook School). One day he invited me up to his room. One thing led to another, we made love. We did it again 2 days later, until we ALMOST got caught. Last month he contacted me on Facebook (he is married w/5 kids). He has not brought up the bromance. Do you think he remembers, should I ask him?

umm… 26 years and 5 kids later, yes he still remembers. guys don’t forget hot and steamy boot camp fucks, especially if they almost got caught. do you want to be bros again with him? if so, then yes, stay in touch. if you want to ask about the deeper part of the bromance, the sex, then you have to be willing to face rejection on that. if you are, then go for it, and hopefully something good comes of it. maybe after 26 years and 5 kids he’s ready to get back to his roots, so to speak… but he could be firmly entrenched in hetero marriage as well, and you need to be ok with either outcome. my vote is to bring it up, ask him, try to reignite it. topher ;)
